The closest airport is Denver International Airport (DEN). Estes Park is about a 90 minute drive NW from there, with tolls.

Directions: From the airport, follow E 470N and I-25N to CO-66 until you reach Estes Park. If this doesn't make sense to you, please consult our friend, Google Maps.

Can you Uber? Yes, but we don't recommend it. Once you reach Estes Park, it's a small mountain community. The likelihood of getting an Uber or Lyft back is not great.

Should I rent a car? Yes. This will be the best, and probably cheapest, way to enjoy the area. If you plan to hike, many trailheads are in driving distance.
